WILL MACLEAN M.B.E. is Emeritus Professor of Visual Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design; an Honorary Doctor of Letters at the University of St Andrews, and a member of the Royal Scottish Academy. He is from Inverness and had an early career in the Merchant Navy before training in art and going on to become one of Scotland’s foremost artists. His work is included in many public collections in the UK and abroad including the British Museum, the National Galleries of Scotland, and the British Collection at Yale University.
