Making An Entrance
A form of art has been practised widely throughout Lewis & Harris for many years.
It is supremely innovative, combining sculpture, texture and stunning use of colour. It is practised by people who would not regard themselves as artists and their results are often the sole artistic statement they will ever make. These results are highly imaginative and range from the bizarre to the beautiful. All examples of this art form are prominently sited yet no-one notices its existence.
